Technical Support
As part of our commitment to quality software development, we want to
provide you with the best possible technical support for all of our
products. And, because of our commitment to lowest possible pricing,
there is generally no charge for technical support. However, in order
to keep costs down, and continue to provide great software at the lowest
possible prices, we rely on your partnership with us when it comes to
technical support.
Prior to contacting us for technical support, please ensure that you’ve
made every effort to resolve the problem yourself. Make sure you’ve
carefully read all documentation and release notes, checked all
available newsgroups and visited any technical support websites that
may be available. If, after having done all this, you still are unable
to resolve the problem, then a technical support request submittal is
your next step.
Technical support issues fall into two basic problem types - software
defects and missing functionality. Each one is handled a little differently.
- Software Defect: If you believe you’ve discovered a defect in
our software and you report it, it will receive highest
priority. When you submit this type of technical support issue,
we will evaluate it immediately, to see if it is something that is
preventing you from using the software. Based upon the severity of
the problem, it may be necessary for us to update the software and
provide you with a patch. If it is merely an annoyance, then the fix
will be included in the next scheduled release of the software.
- Missing Functionality: If you have discovered a feature or
some functionality that you believe to be missing from the software,
you may submit a technical support issue describing what you believe
to be missing, or how you think a particular feature should work
differently. We will review your submittal, and decide if it should
be included in the software. If we decide to include it, it will most
likely be included as part of the next scheduled release of the software.
We welcome any input that you may have as to how we can improve our
